hey

I am looking for something that can teach me how to create and rig a humanoid for U3d; and i cannot figure it out if this tutorial is what i need or not Sad

I can use lerpz, and the human from the locomotion system, but they look broken in cheetah 3d....any clue planning a modeling tutorial soon? Smile

Well, modeling was moved down the list of requested tutorials due to the sheer number of people that wanted to learn how to save, how to animate, and how to script various things.

I will be making a modeling tutorial and showing how to integrate the models from Cheetah3D into Unity using a few different techniques sometime soon after the tutorial I'm working on next, Dynamic GUI. It will cover how to create basic model shapes, how to use the procedural textures inside Cheetah3D, how to bake textures for easy importation, how to create rigs for various model varieties, and how to store animations in a way that makes importing them into Unity an easy task.

Don't worry, it will come.

Sounds great Smile

for me is the opposite of many people on the forum, since i can do my programming scripting stuff but i am not a great 3d artist Wink

My suggestion: create a humanoid character, do the rigging and animation and import in unity; this should cover teh basics and leave some room for advanced techniques Smile I use c4d at work and cheetah at home, so any of these works fine for me Very Happy

The GUI is also interesting, since is one of the most time consuming things to do, especially when you wanna do a nice gui with inventory or main screen/options etc Smile

Thanks Wink
